Strong earthquake off coast of Greece and Turkey

Earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred on Tuesday off the coast of the Greek archipelago Dodecanese, located a few kilometers from the Turkish coast. This was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismic Center.

The epicenter was located at a distance of 39 km southeast of the Greek city of Kefalos, in which about 2.5 thousand people live. The focus lay down at a depth of 2 km, passes the TASS.
