Strong earthquake shocked Afghanistan

Earthquake of magnitude 5.6 occurred in Afghanistan, the US Geological Service (USGS) reports.

The epicenter was located 40 kilometers east of the capital of the Afghan province Bagdis Calaisi-Nau and 141 kilometers to the northeast of Herat. The earthquake focus lay down at a depth of 10 kilometers.
