Student with support of Azercell took a school at International Olympiad

at the 34th International Informatics Olympiad (IOI 2022), held in the city of Jokyakart (Indonesia), the Azerbaijan team, consisting of schoolchildren, adequately introduced the country.

A student of the 11th grade of the modern educational complex named after Heydar Aliyev Said Nasibov won a bronze medal at the Olympics, in which 349 schoolchildren from 88 countries took part.

It should be noted that since 2017, the process of preparing schoolchildren for the International Olympiads in computer science has been carried out as part of the Azercell partnership with the Ministry of Education and the National Olympic Team in Informatics. Talented students from all over the country are involved in the preparatory process, with whom leading specialists in the field of computer science are conducted and shared by the necessary knowledge.

As a result of the preparation of national teams for the International Olympiads in computer science, carried out with the support of Azercell, schoolchildren successfully perform at the Olympiads and competitions of various scale, having won a total of 35 medals, including 1 gold, 10 silver and 24 bronze. As a result of cooperation between Azercell Telekom LLC and the Ministry of Education, the implementation of social projects aimed at increasing interest in education in the field of ICT and technological literacy among youth.
