Sudden Floods In New Mexico: Three Were Missing, Three Were Injured

In the southern part of the American state of New Mexico, sudden floods caused by mousson rains led to destruction and human losses. According to preliminary data, three people were missing, three more were injured.

The representative of the internal security department and emergency situations Daniel Silva said that houses and cars were injured in floods. She also noted that the water level in the rivers is higher than last year, and rescue services began operations to evacuate people who were trapped.

The state authorities called on residents of districts with an increased risk of flooding to immediately rise on a hill. The US National Apartment (NWS) issued a warning about possible floods in the region affected by forest fires in 2024.

It was previously reported that in neighboring Texas, where a destructive flood occurred on July 4, the number of dead increased to 109 people, and the search for more than 160 missing continues.
