Federal Minister of Information and Television and Radio Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan Attaulla Tarar said that the Armed Forces of Pakistan shot down 5 fighters and drones belonging to the Indian Army.
Tarar made a statement on the social network X in connection with the missile attacks of India.
The Minister said that the Armed Forces of Pakistan shot down three fighters and a drone belonging to India in response to these attacks.
“Pakistan properly reacted to the aggression of India,” he said.
General Director of the Interdepartmental Service for Public Relations of the Pakistani Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chodri, said Pakistan will respond to India missile strikes at a convenient time and in the right place.
The general said that India struck Pakistan missile strikes.
Chodri said that India recently inflicted missile strikes on the Kotle and Muzaffarada in Azad Jamm Kashmir, Bahalpur and Murida in the Province of Penjab, adding that one of the attack goals was the mosque.
He noted that the attacks are not aimed at military facilities: “Pakistan will answer this at a convenient time and in a convenient place. This provocation will not remain unanswered.”
Ahmed Sharif Chodri said that 8 people died as a result of India’s attacks, 35 people were injured, two were missing: “Temporary happiness that India has achieved by this cowardly attack will be replaced by constant grief.”
The general told CNN that one of the two shot down Indian aircraft fell near the city of Batind in the Indian province of Penjab, and the other near Akhnur in Jamma -Kashmir.
According to Pakistani State Television PTV News, the Pakistani military was shot down by another Indian Rafal Airplane in the area of the city of the Avantipor in Jamma-Kashmir.
The Armed Forces of Pakistan shot only 5 combat aircraft of the Air Force of India.
