Swedish scientist warned world about risk of a new epidemic

The Swedish scientist warned the world about the beginning of an epidemic of a global scale. This time, a gonorrhea may become a source of global threat.

This is evidenced by the first cases of gonorrhea, which are difficult to treat, said an employee of the university hospital in the city of Erebra Magnus UNEMO, quoted by the Swedish News portal. The physician believes that in 10-20 years this infectious disease will become a source of threat to the whole world, replacing the rest of the viruses and bacteria.

The World Health Organization (WHO) already in 2017 was alarmed due to the identification of the first cases of gonorrhea, which can hardly be treated even with antibiotics. For the first time in the world, such a case was discovered in 2011 in Japan.
