Syria And UAE Signed An Agreement For $ 800 Million On Development Of Port Tartus

Syria and the United Arab Emirates concluded an investment agreement in the amount of $ 800 million regarding the modernization of the port of Tartus.

According to the SANA State Information Agency, the General Department of Port and Border Clauses of Syria signed an agreement with the company based in the UAE.

According to published information, the investment provides for the construction, management and operation of a multifunctional terminal in the port of Tartus. The project is aimed at increasing the logistics potential of Syria and the development of infrastructure of marine transportation.
