Syrian government responded to the demand of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization using the name SDF, about the creation of the “Federation”.
“Syria’s territorial integrity is a red line for us, and any violation and deviation from it is considered an attack on a single identity of Syria,” said Damascus.
In the statement published on the president’s Telegram channel, the government responded to the requirement of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization.
“Recent SDF statements calling for the creation of the Federation and aimed at creating a separate structure in the field, clearly contradict the content of the agreement and threaten the unity and territorial integrity of the country. We unconditionally reject any attempts to impose a reality aimed at the split of the country, or create individual structures called the Federation or Autonomous Administration,” the document emphasizes.
“The territorial and national integrity of Syria is a red feature for us, and any violation and deviation from it is considered an attack on a single identity of Syria,” the administration warned.
“We warn that such a practice as blocking the SDF work of state institutions and the use of national resources outside the state control will deepen the split and jeopardize national sovereignty”.
The statement also emphasizes that the rights of the Kurdish people, like all other components of the Syrian people, are protected under the roof of a single and united Syrian state, on the basis of complete citizenship and equality before the law, and that there is no need for any external intervention or foreign guardianship.
