Syrians Large-scalely Return To Their Homeland On Eve Of Kurban-Bayrama

Dozens of Syrians who lived in Turkey for a long time due to the Civil War began to return to their homeland in anticipation of Kurban-Bayram. Residents of the country got the opportunity to return to their homeland after the overthrow of the 61-year regime Bashar Assad.

Syrian families who arrived at the Ondjyupinar border crossing in the Turkish province of Kilis, the necessary procedures are undergoing to return to Syria on an ongoing basis.

The return of the returning intensified on the eve of the holiday. High workload is fixed at the checkpoint.

25-year-old Ahmed Ismail told Anadol’s correspondent that he was forced to leave Syria 7 years ago because of the war and found refuge in Turkey.

“For all this time I was mentally in my country. The war in Syria ended and I return. I thank President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people. I am happy that I will spend Kurban -Bayram in my homeland,” he said.

19-year-old Ekrem, also noted that he decided to return after the end of the war.

“I am happy that I can spend a holiday with my family in my country,” he said.

23-year-old Zeid Eljubeidi said that he had fled from the war to Turkey, and now that the world has been restored in its region, he decided to return home.

“I have not seen my family for 4 years. I am very glad that I will meet with them and spend a holiday in Syria. I thank Turkey and the Turkish people for everything,” he added.
