Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Iran held telephone conversations against the backdrop of an exacerbation of the situation in the region. This was reported in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.

Tajik Foreign Minister Sirodzhiddin Mukhriddin and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged assessments of the latest events in the Middle East.

According to the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the conversation took place on the initiative of the Iranian side.
