Tajikistan And Iran Held Political Consultations At Foreign Ministry Level

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, on November 24, 2025. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to the department, during the meeting the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral relations in the economic, cultural spheres, as well as in the field of security. It is noted that both sides expressed interest in expanding cooperation between friendly and congenial states.

The Tajik Foreign Ministry also reported that on the same day another round of political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers took place in Dushanbe. The delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda and Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Majid Takht-Ravanchi.

During the consultations, the prospects for bilateral cooperation, the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, as well as issues of mutual interest in the regional and international context were discussed.

The negotiations were held in a constructive atmosphere and a spirit of mutual understanding. The parties confirmed their commitment to further strengthening friendly relations between Tajikistan and Iran.
