In Kyrgyzstan, another meeting of topographic working groups for delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border took place. This is stated in the press service of the Kyrgyz government.
“In accordance with the agreement reached, in the period from April 21 to 27, 2024, the next meeting of the topographic workers and working groups on government delegations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan for Delimitation and Demarge of Kyrgyz took place in the city of Batken of the Kyrgyz Republic. “Tajik state border,” the statement said.
, in the framework of this meeting, the parties exchanged proposals to describe the line of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border in the remaining sites and decided to continue this work at the next meeting, which will be held on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The previous meeting of the working groups took place on April 7-13 in the city of Buston of the Sogdian region of Tajikistan.
The length of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is about 970 kilometers.
