Tajikistan and Switzerland confirmed the commitment to the development of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
According to the department, the Foreign Ministry Head of Tajikistan Sirodzhiddin Mukhriddin on July 11 accepted the head of the Swiss office in Dushanbe Salome Steib on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission, as well as her successor – Denise Luti.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed the high level of Tajik-Switzeric relations and expressed the desire to further expand partnerships. Particular attention was paid to the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of sustainable development.
The Minister thanked Salome Steib for his contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries and wished her success in further professional activity. He expressed confidence in the new director of the Swiss office in cooperation in the successful implementation of future joint initiatives.
