Tajikistan and the UAE discussed the launch of joint industrial projects and the preparation of an interdepartmental agreement. This was reported in the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.
The Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir held a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah Bin Tavk Al-Marry. Negotiations were held in Dushanbe and were devoted to the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of industry, energy and investment.
The parties considered the possibilities of implementing joint projects in mining and metallurgical industries, including the processing of strategically important minerals, as well as modernization and development of aluminum production.
Particular attention was paid to the prospects for cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, the creation of industrial parks and the introduction of advanced technologies in the field of alternative energy.
A separate paragraph of negotiations was the work of the joint intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation. The ministers have expressed interest in the speedy signing of the cooperation agreement between relevant departments at 2025-2027.
It is assumed that the document will become the basis for targeted and long -term interaction, and will also help strengthen the industrial potential and increase the investment attractiveness of both countries.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed the desire to further deepen the partnership and noted that the expansion of relations in the field of industry and technology will contribute to the diversification of the economy and the acceleration of technological renewal.
