Taliban appointed a new chapter of Central Bank of Afghanistan

Taliban appointed a new acting head of the Central Bank of Afghanistan “Yes Afghanistan Bank” (DAB) after his former manager Ajmal Ahmadi left the country for security reasons, the Afghan Agency Pajhwok reports.

According to the agency, Mohammad Idris will lead the Bank. Earlier, he headed the Commission of the Taliban on economic issues.

It is reported that Idris was appointed I.O. Managing DAB “in order to organize the activities of state institutions, solving banking issues and other population problems.”
