Representatives of the radical movement “Taliban” did not allow the former President of Afghanistan Hamida Karzai to visit the funeral of the ex-head of the UAE Sheikh Caliph Ben Zaid Al Nahayan. This was announced on Sunday by the Afghan television channel Tolo News with reference to the source surrounded by Karzai.
According to him, the ex-president of Afghanistan was to be present at the mourning ceremony, and the UAE embassy in Kabul was engaged in the preparation of his visit. However, the source notes, after the specified dossier was transferred to the Taliban Foreign Ministry, Karzai’s visit and his participation in the ceremony was imposed.
