The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtier Saidov, met with the First Deputy Head of the Bangladesh Masoud Bin Masud.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan, during negotiations, the ways of further development of the Uzbek-Balladesh co-cooperation in all areas, focused on strengthening the well-being of the peoples of the two countries, were discussed. Bakhtier Saidov noted that there is great potential for collaboration, especially in an economic direction.
Diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh are established on October 15, 1992.
