Tehran: Iran and West are close to a new nuclear transaction agreement

The participants of the Viennese negotiations on the Iranian nuclear transaction are close to the agreement as never before, stated the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Iran, the head of the Iranian delegation of Ali Bagieri Kani, writing about it in twitter.

“After many weeks of intense negotiations, we are not close to the agreement. At the same time, the agreement will not be as long as everything is agreed,” he said.

According to the head of the Iranian delegation, “negotiating partners need to adhere to a realistic approach, avoid disadvantage and take into account the lessons of the last four years.” “It’s time for serious solutions,” he added.

On February 5, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossaina Amir Abdollahian stated that individual positive shifts were observed in negotiations on the restoration of a nuclear transaction in Vienna, but until the results justify the expectations of Tehran.

On February 8, in Vienna, after a break, the eighth round of negotiations resumed in the aim of restoring a nuclear transaction in the original form and the return of the United States into this multilateral agreement, resembles TASS. Work is conducted both within the framework of the Joint Commission of Iran and Russia, Great Britain, Germany, China and France and in the format of individual consultations with the United States without the participation of Tehran, which is not yet ready for direct dialogue with the American side. Negotiators have already agreed to speed up the process of working on the draft agreement. It is assumed that the eighth round can be the last, since consulting participants are configured to complete work in February.
