Tehran reported resumption of trade ties with Riyadh

Iran resumed trade relations with Saudi Arabia. This was announced in an interview with Irna by the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of the Islamic Republic, Seyed Reza Fatami Amin.

“Representatives of the Ministry of Industry, the Mining and Trade of the two countries launched the process of export of goods,” said Amin.

Foreign Minister Iran Hosein Amir Abdolkhiyan and his colleague from Saudi Arabia Faysal Bin Ferkhan, as part of a meeting in Beijing on April 6, agreed on the mutual opening of embassies, the resumption of air traffic and simplifying the visa regime.
