Teimur Musaev and Fakhrettin Kodja discussed cooperation of Azerbaijan and Turkey in healthcare

As part of the anniversary session of the World Health Assembly, Minister of Health Teymur Musaev met in Geneva with his Turkish colleague Fakhrettin Kodzh. This was reported by Haqqin.az in the press service of the ministry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of further cooperation of the two fraternal countries in the field of healthcare. Negotiations were also held on the organization in Baku “Business Forum in the field of healthcare”.

It was also noted that Turkey has extensive experience in conducting a joint business forum in the field of healthcare, which was previously held in the UK, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and other countries. The forum in which private medical companies from the presented countries take part, the improvement of the financial mechanism in healthcare and investment opportunities are discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the parties noted the feasibility of increasing the frequency and intensity of meetings to achieve successful results in cooperation.
