The military-industrial complex of Turkey has achieved significant success in many areas, a clear example of which is also the program of the domestic military courts Mi̇lgem.
In an interview with Anadola, the Deputy Minister of National Defense Mukhsin Dere, who visited the site of the Teknofest Aviation and Space Technology festival in Istanbul.
The festival has been held on an annual basis since 2018 by the joint efforts of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technologies of Turkey. Companies and organizations contributing to the technological development of the country are actively supported by the undertaking.
In an interview with Anadol, Deputy Minister of National Defense Mukhsin Dere said that Teknofest left behind him for 6 years.
Dereh recalled that the fourth festival took place in Istanbul, the event was also organized in Gaziantep, Samsun and Baku. “We are all proud of this initiative. We see what heights Teknofest reached. In particular, we see the interest of the people, we see the participation of young people. The number of participants in the festival has already exceeded 1 million. And this is amazing. In fact, this is a world festival, the festival technologies. 300 thousand teams, 1 million participants is amazing. This event that allows people to see shock -reconnaissance drones – Bayraktar TB3 and the latest strategic Bayraktar Kizilelma stress, touch the ATAK helicopter and the F -16 fighter, sit in the cabin of the military -A400M traffic aircraft, “said Dereh.
According to him, the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey has been supporting Teknofest since 2018. “We believe that this is extremely important for rallying the armed forces and youth. Our department is one of the structures that provide the most significant support to the festival. This year, about 400 of our employees, both military and civilians, take part in Teknofes. Participation and our helicopters, 19 aircraft, pilot groups Solo Türk and Türk Yıldızları. In addition, the Military Orchestra Mehteran is acting, ”the deputy minister said.
Dereh said that, unlike previous years this year, teams from the United Arab Emirates and Morocco, who perform demonstration flights, take part in the festival.
“They will fly along with the Turkish pilot groups of Solo Türk and Türk Yıldızları. As you know, has already made its first flight of Hürjet’s pilot reactive aircraft. We hope that Solo Türk will perform their flights on this plan in this aircraft in the coming years and türk yıldızları. And this is also a great joy, ”added Dere.
