In the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRK), LefkoShe began the 11th International Aviation, Cosmos and Technology Festival (Teknofest).
The Teknofest held since 2018 has managed to turn into the world’s largest event in its industry.
The current festival is organized by the Turkish Technological Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey with the support of the Presidential Administration of TRK. 132 structures acted as partners of the event.

Aviation, Cosmos and Technofest technology festival has been held annually since 2018. In 2025, the festival will take place outside Turkey for the second time.
The Teknofest TRK festival will be held from May 1 to 4, 2025 on the territory of the Erzhan Airport in LefkoSHos on an area of about 100 thousand square meters.
For participation in Teknofest TRSK, applications from more than 47 thousand contestants from 22 countries were received.
In addition to Turkey and TRK, applications were submitted by participants from Afghanistan, Germany, Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burundi, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Mali, Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia and Sudan, Sudan, Tunisia and Sudan. Uzbekistan.
As part of the festival, 268 teams and 1083 participants reached the final, of which 334 were women and 749 – men. Competitions will be held in 6 main and 13 subcategories.
The festival will host competitions on social innovation, simulations of flying cars, tourist technologies, Teknofest Robolig “Blue Homeland”, research projects and the drone championship.
In the final, teams from six countries will perform: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Trsk, Pakistan and Turkey. 20 teams and 103 participants will take part from TRK in competitions.
The festival will include technological competitions in six categories, air show with the pilot groups “Turkish stars” (Türk yıldızları), Solotürk and “Steel Wings of the Gendarmerie”, Turkish drones Bayrakinci, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB2 Hürkuş, Anka, Aksungu, an ATAK of Turkish production.
The entrance to the Teknofest 2025 festival will be open from 09:00 to 19:00 local time.
