“Tengizhevroyil” could not start export of oil for “Baku-Tbilisi-Jahan”

Export supplies of Kazmunaygaz (KMG) from the resources “Tengizhevroil” (TSU) along the route “Baku-Tbilisi-Jahan” (BTC) fell due to an earthquake in Turkey.

This was announced to reporters by CEO TSHO Kevin Lyon, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.

“At the moment, we are working with Kazmunaygaz in order to determine and form such a route, because with the tengiz there will be shipping by rail. Unfortunately, as you know, the tragic earthquake that took place in Turkey affected Infrastructure facilities, and accordingly influenced the Jaikhan terminal in Turkey, ”Lyon said, answering the question of whether KMG plans export oil supplies according to BTC in February from TSU resources.

“At the moment, we do not have the opportunity to launch test shipments, so the route has not yet been launched. We pray for those people who have suffered as a result of this, and wait as soon as we have the opportunity to conduct tests,” he said .
