The term of the arrest of the ex-minister of labor and the social protection of Azerbaijan Salim Muslimov has been extended for one month.
According to HaqQin.az, the petition of the investigative body on the extension of the arrest of Salim Muslimov is considered in the Sabail district court. The petition was satisfied, and the preventive measure in the form of arrest was extended for another month.
In the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, the facts of abuse and improper fulfillment by Salimov Muslims Yangar Oglu had their authority during his work as a minister of labor and social protection of the population of Azerbaijan were investigated. During the investigation, within the framework of the criminal case, initiated on the basis of the materials collected, the abuse of Salim Muslim office authority was established. Suspicions were established for his accusation in the demand and receipt of a part of funds allocated to individuals and legal entities who carried out work on the construction and repair of private residential buildings and home boarding houses for disabled people in various areas, using officials subordinated to him.
It was also established that Salim Muslims repeatedly took bribes in a major amount for the results of inspections held by the Ministry of Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry during the construction and reconstruction of objects of industrial, social and other purposes.
was also confirmed by suspicions that he repeatedly received from the leaders of various territorial branches from 10 to 30 thousand manat in the form of bribes for the results of the inspections.
Recall that Salim Muslims is brought to justice as an accused person under Art. 308.2 (abuse of official powers, entailed grave consequences), 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 (receiving a bribe in a large amount) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
