November 18, with the support of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children, the Public Association of Regional Development (RIIB) and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) will be held the V National Forum of Azerbaijan Children.
On the eve of the event, First Deputy Minister of Health, temporarily acting Minister Teymur Musaev met with a group of forum participants, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
During the meeting, held in a warm atmosphere, Teymur Musaev stressed that President Ilham Aliyev always pays special attention and care for the protection of children’s health, and protection of their rights is one of the priorities of public policy.
Recalling that in accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in our country, 2009 was declared the Year of the Child, and from that year now the Name-Rosted Forum of Children has been held for the fourty time, the First Deputy Minister of Health expressed confidence that this event will become important The event in the life of children and at the same time contributes to the development of their personal potential.
According to him, the forum is important in terms of attracting the attention of state bodies, the public and civil society to protect the rights of children and allows children to share their emotional experiences and problems, to show the initiative and their abilities.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, the forum participants stressed that they always felt the attention and care of the state. According to them, the Republic of Azerbaijan’s National Forum of Azerbaijan, dedicated to the current issues of the education and health of children, their social protection, an effective organization of leisure of children, their Internet security, as well as patriotic education – an excellent opportunity to select children with leadership qualities and analytical thinking in Areas of children’s rights.
