“For us, the most important thing is that Turkey supports us. There is a complete understanding that the Russian Federation cannot win, since the continuing aggression of the Kremlin will threaten the whole region and Turkey in particular,” he said.
The ambassador added that there is an important political and significant practical support of Ukraine from Turkey.
“there is an important component of support in international organizations, serious humanitarian assistance, intermediary services in the negotiation process,” he said.
According to the ambassador, now it is discussed the possibility of attracting the Turkish business to restore Ukraine after the war.
“And, of course, the component of the restoration of Ukraine is important. We are already talking about the possibilities of attracting Turkish business for the reconstruction of Ukraine and also warn that those who work with the Russian Federation will not be able to work with our country,” emphasized He.
Bodnar noted that Turkey is pro -Ukrainian, and public sympathies on our side.
“But here we should take into account the interests of Turkey, especially the position on sanctions. We have outdoons on interaction with the Russian Federation, but we are not talking about complex things, but in the format of diplomatic negotiations. We are trying to build a constructive dialogue, do not silence the existing problems, we exchange notes, but we can’t put part of the issues into a public space. Our task is to solve issues and problems, and not to bring them to a public discussion, ”the ambassador added.
