“The serious process will start”: President of Israel arrived in Turkey for first time in 15 years

Israeli President Yitzhak Duke and his wife arrived in Ankara with a state visit, the head of the head of the Jewish state said. This is the first visit of the Israeli President to Turkey.

“Israeli President Itzhak Duke Together with the first Lady Mikhal Duke just landed in Ankara,” the presidential office says, RIA Novosti reports.

Before departure to Ankara, the president of the Duke stated that Israel would try to reboot relations with Turkey, who in recent years experienced ups and downs. The duke noted that under conditions, when “international order loans”, it is important to establish stability and partnership between the countries of the region.

Duke expressed the hope that following his visit to Ankara, the “serious process with Turkey, an in-depth dialogue at various levels” will begin, which will lead to progress in relations between countries.
