“The Week Of Turkish Cuisine” Was Held In Qatar

In Qatar, events were held as part of the “Week of Turkish Cuisine”.

as part of the “Week of Turkish Cuisine”, held from May 21 to 27 at the initiative of the wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyp Erdogan Emine Erdogan, a special event took place in the capital of Katar Docha at the Institute of Yunus Emre (Yee).

The event was attended by Turkish ambassador to Doha Dr. Mustafa Hex, coordinator of the UNUS Emre Institute in Doha Enver Gedik, foreign students studying the Turkish language, as well as food bloggers, influents and numerous guests.

In his introductory word, the Ambassador of Hax emphasized the unique place of Turkish cuisine among world gastronomic cultures, noting its ancient history and unique tastes.

Yee Coordinator Enver Gedik said that the measures to promote Turkish cuisine are passing around the world, and expressed joy about the possibility of presenting it in Qatar.

The presentation of traditional methods of preparing Turkish dishes was held in the framework of the program. The guests were offered to taste a variety of dishes, desserts and drinks of Turkish cuisine, specially prepared for the “week of Turkish cuisine”, and also talked about their recipes.

In addition, the book “Turkish cuisine with centuries -old recipes”, prepared under the leadership of Emine Erdogan, was presented.
