“It seems that it would be naive to raise questions about a certain transformation of approaches to building Russian -American relations on new grounds, based only from media leaks. Our connections are experiencing a deep crisis. While the clearance is not visible in the tunnel,” the diplomat said in Interview.
He emphasized that Washington intends to continue the policy of economic sanctions and political pressure against Russia.
“The result of such actions, according to politicians, should be a weak Russia, which is not able to defend its rights in the international arena. By the way, Washington’s efforts to squeeze us from multilateral mechanisms and institutions are aimed at,” said Anatoly Antonov.
“We, diplomats, especially those who work in Washington, would like other Russian -American relations. Relations that would be based on respect for national interests were built on an equal basis,” added a diplomat.
