Deputy commander of the Azov regiment Svyatoslav Palamar said that the civilian could leave the blocked Azovstal, but local battles were ongoing in the plant, CNN reports.
“If you are talking about the Azovstal plant, then the civilians who were with us, whom we cared about – they managed to leave the plant,” said Palamar.
