“This day has come”: Magate Mission went to Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant

The mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency went to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. This was announced on August 29 on Twitter by the head of the Magate Rafael Grossy.

“This day has come, the mission of the IAEA to support and help now on the road to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. We must ensure the safety of the largest nuclear facility in Ukraine and Europe. I am proud that I am supervised by this mission that will arrive at the ZAES later this week “, – wrote Grossy on Twitter.

According to NYT, the Magate mission will include experts from Poland and Lithuania, whom Ukraine considers friendly, but also representatives of Serbia and China, to which Ukraine refers with great suspicion because of their friendly relations with Moscow. Other members – from countries that mainly stood aloof from the war in Ukraine or supported open communication channels with the Kremlin. These include Albania, France, Italy, Jordan, Mexico and Northern Macedonia.
