The equipment was transferred within the framework of a previously concluded memorandum between TİKA and the Association, the agency handed over to the Bukhara branch equipment that will allow women to use acquired professional skills in practice.
According to the project, TİKA provided the association with computers, kits for hairdressers and cosmetologists, sewing machines, as well as ovens and stoves to help women realize their professional knowledge and start their own business.
It is expected that the provided equipment will contribute to the opening of small businesses and the employment of women undergoing training in the association.
The Association’s branch in Bukhara conducts courses in such areas as sewing, cooking, confectionery, hairdressing, digital literacy, nursing, accounting, floriculture and efficient use of agricultural land.

Earlier, in 2020, TİKA built an area of 250 sq.m. two-story modern vocational training center at the association’s branch in Bukhara and provided it with the necessary equipment.
