Foreigners in Russia can allow combining the purpose of staying, as well as independently of them to carry out tourist trips and receive medical services, RIA Novosti reports.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Kirill Adzinov at the International Congress on Medical and Health Tourism.
As noted by Adzinov, according to the developed migration bill, in the period of the permitted period of stay, foreigners will be able to change the purpose of staying without going beyond Russia.
“enshrines the possibility of combining individual stays (for example, work and studies),” said the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Adzinov noted that foreign citizens for treatment in Russia will be able to get a new type of visa – ordinary medical.
“a foreign citizen entering the Russian Federation in order to undergo treatment, and an ordinary medical visa will be drawn up by its accompanying person,” he said.
Such a visa will be issued for up to one year.
