President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev congratulated President Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in connection with the election of Azerbaijan, the country of the next summit of the world leaders of the 29th Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
According to the press service of the Kazakh leader, Tokaev sent a congratulatory message to President Aliyev.
In his message, Tokaev congratulated Aliyev on the choice of Azerbaijan as a country of COP29 climate summit next year.
In his message, Tokaev noted that this decision is a vivid evidence of recognizing the high authority and effective policy of Azerbaijan in the international arena: “I believe that the organization of this large -scale summit in the beautiful Baku will make a significant contribution to supporting the goals of sustainable development, the solution of the most relevant problems of our time, will attract the attention of the world community to regional environmental problems. “
In his message, Tokaev also expressed the readiness of Kazakhstan to provide comprehensive assistance to Azerbaijan for a successful and fruitful organization of the summit.
