Tokayev And Pashinyan Adopted Joint Statement Following Negotiations In Astana

The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan adopted a Joint Statement following the negotiations in Astana.

As reported in the Telegram channel of the Akorda press service, also in the presence of the President of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Armenia, members of official delegations exchanged intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.

In particular, an agreement on the transfer, use, protection was signed between the governments of the two countries and the safety of secret information, an agreement between the mutual provision of land plots for the construction of buildings of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Armenia in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Roadmap for trade and economic cooperation for 2026-2030.

Among the signed documents is a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia; Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of High-Technological Industry of the Republic of Armenia.

The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia on cooperation in trade in agricultural products, an Action Plan between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia for 2026-2027 and

Plan of main measures for the development of cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia for 2026-2027.

The list of signed documents includes: an agreement on the creation of the Kazakh-Armenian Business Council between the Foreign Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia; memorandums of cooperation between national libraries, film centers, art museums of Kazakhstan and Armenia; memorandum in the field of peaceful uses of atomic energy between the Kazakh Atomic Energy Agency and the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration; memorandum of cooperation in science and higher education between the ministries of Kazakhstan and Armenia; cooperation agreement between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan and the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Kazakhstan is interested in participating in the project “International Route of Peace and Prosperity TRIPP”
