Tokayev announced depletion of oil reserves in Kazakhstan

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev during his trip to Aktau touched the problems of exhaustion of oil reserves and reduce oil production by 2030.

In his speech, the head of the Kazakhstan state affected the issue of further development of the oil and gas industry, including in terms of the development of new deposits in the region. He reminded his decision to start the development of large deposits “Kalamkas-Sea” and “Khazar”, the total value of which is about $ 5 billion, writes Sputnik Kazakhstan.

In addition, Tokayev touched the problem associated with the gradual depletion of oil fields and a reduction in oil production by 2030. To solve this issue, President of Kazakhstan called on to actively attract investments in geological exploration and search for new deposits.
