Kazakhstan President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev said that Almaty resistated six waves of terrorist attacks, reports Sputnik Kazakhstan.
“At the same time, the militants spoke in those languages that were not common in Kazakhstan,” the head of state added.
Previously, Tokayev said that only 20 thousand bandits got into Almaty.
Recall, the city stripping from armed races continues in Almaty. Peacekeepers in conjunction with law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan took control of Almaty airport.
