Interfax-Azerbaijan, with reference to the Office, notes that in June 2022, 30 commodity parties from Azerbaijan were not allowed to import into the territory of the Russian Federation: 320.9 tons of fresh tomatoes, 99.8 tons of food potatoes and 109.9 tons of fresh cherries .
The basis for the detention was the conclusion of the Dagestan branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “All -Russian Center for Plant Quarantine”, which confirmed the fact of the detection of quarantine harmful objects – the South American tomato moth, potato moth (Phthorimaaa Opeerculella (Zelle) and eastern fruit.
