In Tovuz district, the staff of the district police department detained persons accused of fraud.
As reported in the Ganja Regional Group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, as a result of operational search activities conducted by the police officers on the basis of the conversion of a resident of the district, a resident of the village of Hatnly Ahmedov Akhmedov and his brother were detained by a fraud Qaynar-xett.az Zaur Ahmedov.
During the investigation, it was found that these persons contacted the serviceman’s family who became Shehd, promising parents to increase the amount of funds allocated for social insurance of the shekhid. They also promised that for the perpetuation of the memory of the shekhid, they will publish books and magazines devoted to him, and special programs about it will be released.

Obtained thus confidence in the family of Shehid, the Ahmedov brothers received from the Shehid family a total of 1850 manat.
In fact, a criminal case was initiated on the relevant paragraph of Article 178 (fraud) of the Criminal Code.
