Today in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, chaired by Judge Afghan Hajiyev, a preparatory meeting was held in the criminal case of the former Prosecutor General of the country and the ex-ambassador of Eldar Gasanov.
As reported by the HAQQIN.AZ correspondent, the personal data of the accused were updated. After the lawyers were asked to spend a process in a more spacious hall. Eldar Hasanov did not objected to the petition. It was decided to consider the petition at the next meeting.
Lawyers also petitioned to release Gasanov from a glass cell and sit down by lawyers. The state binding did not object to the petition, but the court did not satisfy the petition.
During the meeting, the lawyer of the accused, Jalil Mirzoev, said that the indictment was not compiled in accordance with the procedural demands, the right to familiarize themselves was violated, asked to send a case to reoperate and stop the trial.
