Trial of former head of Curdamir began

In the Lankaran court in grave crimes, the trial began in the criminal case of the former head of the executive authority of the Kürdimir district of Jaafarov and other officials of the district.

According to HaqQin.az, on the process chaired by Judge Javid Safarli, the questionnaires of the accused were clarified.

Recall that on August 19, 2020, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General conducted operational and investigative activities in the administrative building of the Curdamir district, in the management of landscaping and irrigation systems, a combine of utilities and territorial administrative representation in the city of Kurdamir. In relation to Japhoon Jafarov, Tajeddina Jafarov and Natika Kerimov were initiated by criminal cases under articles 308.2 (abuse of official authority), 311.3.1, 311.3.2 and 311.3.1 (receipt of a bribe) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. By the decision of the Binagadinsky District Court against them, a preventive measure was elected in the form of arrest.
