Tribes In Syrian Esweide Announced Observance Of Ceasefire

Representatives of local tribes and ashiretes (clan communities) in the province of Eswood in the south of Syria made a joint statement in which they confirmed the commitment to the ceasefire and reported on the withdrawal of all armed groups outside the city.

“After consultations with all members of tribes and ashiretes in Eswood, we declare that, from the point of view of prudence and in order to provide authorized state structures, the opportunity to fulfill their obligations to ensure security and stability, all fighters representing tribes and ashiretes are withdrawn beyond the city of Eswood,” follows the text.

The authors of the application also emphasized that in case of violation of the agreement by illegal armed groups, Syrian tribes and ashirets reserve the right to give a tough and decisive answer.

Syria Ministry of Internal Affairs: Claces in the city of Eswood stopped

Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Syria, Nuddin al-Baba, previously announced the termination of clashes in the city of El-Suyid, the Syrian province of the same name.

In the publication in the Telegram channel, Al-Baba noted that the department makes serious efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement.

According to him, in the northern and western regions of the city in order to ensure stability and control over the situation, security forces subordinated to the department are deployed.

Al-Baba also emphasized that all armed groups associated with tribal structures were completely withdrawn from the ES Suyida.
