US President Donald Trump said that ex-president Barack Obama deliberately formed an opinion among the public about Russia’s intervention in the 2016 presidential election in his favor.

Trump made a corresponding statement on the Truth Social social network after publishing a declassified 2016 election report published by the US National Intelligence Director Tulsey Gabbard.
Trump claims that it was Obama who first charged the support of his candidacy from Moscow. He emphasized that “there are irrefutable evidence” and called what is happening “a great threat to the United States.”
Earlier, Gabbard also accused a number of high -ranking persons from the Obama administration of creating a “false picture” about Russia’s intervention and called for holding them accountable. The published report is mentioned by the former national intelligence director James Clapper, CIA ex-head John Brennan and former FBI director James Komi.
The CIA statement in early July also noted that the process of preparing the 2016 report on the alleged intervention of Russia in favor of Trump was carried out with violations. The internal investigation established that the document was prepared hastily, and senior officials exerted excessive pressure on the maintenance – which was recognized as procedurally abnormal.
Investigation of the “Russian trace”
