US President Donald Trump announced that the agreement between the United States and Ukraine on rare earth elements has been officially signed and entered into force after approval by both countries.
“We have just finally approved the agreement with Ukraine by rare elements, approved by legislative bodies. Today I will talk to the President of Zelensky,” the American leader said, speaking in the oval office.
Having expressed satisfaction about the signing of the agreement, Trump added: “Now we have access to very large volumes of high -quality rare -earth elements. This is important for national security and industry.”
Recall, on April 18, the United States and Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation in the field of rare -earth resources.
