US President Donald Trump denied allegations that Washington allegedly gave Ukraine permission to use long-range missiles against targets in Russia.
In a statement published on his page on the Truth Social social network, Trump wrote that the Wall Street Journal publication that the United States allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles targeting targets deep inside Russia is a fake.
“The United States has nothing to do with these missiles, their origin, or how Ukraine uses them,” he wrote.
The Wall Street Journal previously, citing American officials, wrote that the United States had allegedly lifted restrictions on Ukraine’s use Western long-range missiles against Russia.
According to the publication, this “unannounced decision” was made after the authority to approve such attacks was transferred from Defense Minister Pete Hegseth to the commander-in-chief of American forces in Europe and at the same time NATO commander, General Alexus Grinkevich.
