US President Donald Trump said he was less confident in achieving a nuclear transaction with Iran than a few months ago.
In an interview with the newspaper New York Post, Trump commented on topical issues of the agenda.
After the announcement that negotiations suspended for some time due to the US persistent demand to completely stop working on the enrichment of Uranus in Iran will resume on June 15 in Oman, Trump noted that Tehran “seems to delay” a nuclear deal.
In his opinion, the Iranian side does not show previous enthusiasm in reaching the agreement: “Something happened to them. I do not know.”

A stating that “Iran will not allow you to purchase nuclear weapons,” even if the agreement is not reached, Trump emphasized: “But it would be better to do it without war, without the death of people.”

President Trump rejected the statement that China played a role in the unwillingness of the Iranian side to agree to the deal.

Trump also made a statement about Ilon Mask, businessman and former senior adviser with whom he quarreled because of his sharp criticism of the tax reduction bill.
He stated that he did not feel hostility for the mask and was only surprised by their quarrel: “I am disappointed. But it happened, what happened. Such things are happening in life. I don’t blame him for anything.”
