Trump: Qatar Will Purchase Weapons From United States And Equipment In Amount Of $ 42 Billion

Qatar will purchase weapons from the United States and equipment worth $ 42 billion. This was announced by US President Donald Trump, speaking to the American military at the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, where he arrived as part of his tour of the Middle East.

Trump announced the signing of an agreement on the purchase of American military equipment in the amount of $ 42 billion, including the Thaad missile batteries, PEGASUS-jurisdictions, MQ-9B and Sky Guardian drones.

The US President also announced plans to invest $ 10 billion in expanding the American base al-Udeid.

According to the American leader, Washington collaborates with the Dochi administration in defense issues.

“As I said earlier, I will approve an unprecedented budget of 1 trillion dollars for the US Armed Forces,” Trump said, noting the US intention to attract 10 trillions of dollars of investment from foreign countries during the second term of his stay at the post.
