Trump Says There’s “good Chance” Of Peace Deal On Ukraine

US President Donald Trump expressed optimism about the prospects for concluding an agreement to end the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The American leader said this while commenting on the results between the delegations of the United States and Ukraine in Florida on Sunday, November 30.

“I think we have every chance of making a deal,” the head of the White House said, speaking to the press on board the presidential plane Air Force One.

At the same time, he pointed out that Ukraine has “some difficult little problems.” “Ukraine has a number of difficult problems, but I think Russia would like this to end. And I know that Ukraine definitely wants this,” the politician noted.

Trump also said that over the past month, “about 27,000 soldiers have died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.”

The day before, negotiations were held between the American and Ukrainian delegations in Miami (Florida, USA). US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov made statements to the media following the meeting. The parties called the consultations “productive.”
