Trump Sends Another 2000 Fighters Of National Guard To Suppress Protests In Los Angeles

California Governor Gavin News said that US President Donald Trump ordered another 2000 National Guard fighters to intervene in Los Angeles, organized in support of illegal migrants detained by the immigration and customs police (ICE). News wrote about this on the social network X.

The governor emphasized that of the directed guards, only 300 participate in the actions in the field, while the rest “sit idle in the buildings of federal departments”, without even basic support – food and water.

“This has nothing to do with public safety. This is an indulgence of the ego of a dangerous president. It is reckless, pointless and is a manifestation of disrespect for our military,” he said.

In a separate message, News turned to the residents of Los Angeles, emphasizing the importance of their civil position.

“Trump is trying to sow chaos by sending 4,000 soldiers to the American land. The instigators who use his riots will be held accountable. Take care of yourself. Keep calm. Support each other,” the governor said.

He also noted that the authorities of California strengthen security measures by sending more than 800 employees of the state law enforcement agencies and local structures.

“Chaos is exactly what Trump wants. Now the turn of California to put things in order,” added News.

700 Marines are sent to Los Angeles

US Secretary of Defense Pit Hegset announced the deployment of about 700 marine infantrymen in Los Angeles “due to an increasing threat.”

“Even if Gavin News refuses to act, we are obliged to defend federal law enforcement agencies,” he wrote on the social network X.

The Pentagon representative Sean Parnell confirmed the information, adding that the additional 2000 guards were called to the federal service by order of the president.

“The Ministry of Defense, at the direction of the president, sent national guards to support ICE and ensure the safe work of federal law enforcement agencies,” he said.

Protest in Los Angeles against the actions of Ice

In Los Angeles, protests continue to support illegal migrants detained by ICE. Demonstrations are accompanied by mass detentions and periodic clashes with the police.

President Trump said he was introducing the National Guard to stabilize the situation, accusing the city administration and the Democrat Governor of the inability to ensure order.
