US President Donald Trump signed a decree that allows migrants to leave the country on free flights financed by the federal government. This was reported in the statement of the White House.
According to the document, the use of the CBP Home application will be expanded, and the program “Free Return home” is launched, aimed at simplifying and accelerating the voluntary departure of migrants from the country. Migrants who leave the United States on an ongoing basis guarantee a full cover of expenses for the flight. In addition, everyone who will leave voluntarily and forever will be provided with monetary encouragement.
The statement emphasizes that these measures are aimed at “accelerating the process of voluntary repatriation” and will be implemented as soon as possible.
